Two forms of support

Selling a property is often driven by something other than the wish to sell. We take care of what comes with it.

Moving into care

Selling to fund a place in a care home

When a relative moves into a care home, the flat often has to be sold to fund the place. It falls at the worst possible moment, on a family rarely available and often scattered.

We take care of the sale: valuation, listing, viewings, follow-through to the notarial deed. For clearing and restoring the property, we point you to firms we work with. One point of contact on the property side, and regular updates to the family.

Financing

Mortgage and banking introductions

An offer is only worth the financing behind it. Better to know what you can borrow before viewing, rather than after falling for a place.

We introduce you to mortgage advisers who know the Vaud market. One thing worth knowing before you make an offer: beyond roughly 200 m² for a flat or 300 m² for a house, banks often class the property as a luxury object and lend only 60% of its value instead of 80%, sometimes on a valuation below the market price. You remain free to choose your bank: we open the door, you decide.

Price per square metre: where does Vaud stand?

Across the two thousand-odd listings we track in the canton, the median price sits at roughly 10,500 francs per square metre, with a higher average, a sign that the top of the market pulls the figures up. The gap between municipalities remains considerable.

Value your property online, then talk it through

Our valuation tool compares your property with recent transactions in your municipality and gives you a range in two minutes. It is a starting point: a broker visiting in person is what turns a range into a price.
